The UFC pulled out all of the strings for the upcoming UFC 275: Teixeira vs Prochaska card next weekend in Singapore that will feature two title fights and numerous contenders. As such, UFC Vegas 56 on Saturday afternoon featured a lot of “green” fighters on the roster, with the vast majority of the card having fewer than 10 fights in The Octagon. Perhaps a little light on the paycheck earnings, the athletes put on quite the display in pursuit of the fight bonuses for Fight Night. Here’s who got paid what.
Let's hear it for these two 👏👏👏@OdeOsbourne & @KillerKarine are walking away with tonight's POTN honors! #UFCVegas56 pic.twitter.com/6tebqV8xTG

Performances of the Night – Ode’ Osbourne & Karine Silva
In consecutive contests on Saturday, fight fans were treated to extraordinary performances from flyweights Ode’ Osbourne and Karine Silva. Osbourne was first as “The Jamaican Sensation” dropped his opponent Zarrukh Adasheck just one minute into the first round of the fight. The shot was fantastic as both fighters were landing blows simultaneously, with Osbourne’s carrying more power to land the finish.
Silva quickly followed Osbourne’s finish with a first-round victory of her own in the women’s flyweight. Making her UFC debut, “Killer” didn’t let up on the experienced Poliana Botelho in the final moments of the first five minutes. With just five seconds on the remaining before the bell and locked in a D’Arce Choke, Botelho had all she could handle and tapped out. Both Osbourne and Silva earned took home an extra $50,000 for their excellence.
Fight of the Night – Lucas Almeida vs Michael Trizano
Five fighters made their debuts on Saturday at UFC Vegas 56, and two of them walked away with bonuses. Joining Silva who earned one of the Performance of the Night bonuses, Lucas Almeida collected a little extra coin from his fight with Michael Trizano following Silva’s finish. Unlike the Osbourne and Silva bouts, the Almeida-Trizano contest went into the third round in a battle that featured some heavy shots.
Almedia started strong but looked to be in trouble in the first round after catching a left hook from Trizano. He survived the round and rebounded in the second round, seemingly taking back control of the fight. The contest went into the third round but didn’t last a minute as Almeida opened up with a powerful left and ascended on Trizano with a flurry of strikes that forced the official to call the fight. Trizano came so close to victory early and battled strongly throughout, thus he and Almeida were each awarded $50,000 for their part in the Fight of the Night.
What a fight!!! 😤@TheLoneWolfMMA & Lucas Almeida earn your FOTN honors!
