Kyle Daukaus has a new dance partner and will still compete on the UFC Vegas 42 card.
Recently, Kevin Holland was removed from his scheduled rematch with Kyle Daukaus for Nov.13. Instead, the middleweight will meet Roman Dolidze. Sources with MMA Fighting were first to confirm the news of the reported match-up. Initially, Dolidze was scheduled to face Eryk Anders on the same Nov. 13 card but the plan was scratched after Anders too would pull out of the scheduled contest due to injury.

A Look At Kyle Daukaus and Roman Dolidze
During the Daukaus and Holland contest, an unfortunate clash of heads caused a chaotic ending. Once the headbutt occurred, the referee allowed the fight to continue only for Daukaus to sink in a rear-naked choke shortly after. Following the mayhem, the bout was ruled a No Contest.
Prior to the mishap with Holland, Daukaus took a loss to fellow middleweight Phil Hawes. After being unable to implement his elite grappling skills, the 28-year-old would lose a unanimous decision. Even so, the middleweight is an absolute killer when it comes to finishes. In fact, Daukaus is sporting eight submissions out of his ten overall victories.
Opposite to Daukaus will be Georgia’s Roman Dolidze. The middleweight recently got back on track after defeating Laureano Staropoli in a unanimous decision victory. Dolidze’s diverse record of finishes underlines his unpredictability in the cage. The Georgian prospect took his first loss in the UFC in March against Trevin Giles. Prior to his defeat to Giles, Dolidze impressed the masses by scoring a TKO in his UFC debut and pulling away with a split decision in his next bout.
While Dolidze is struggling to find his footing in a packed middleweight division, he will look to score the biggest win of his career when he takes on his toughest test to date in grappling ace, Kyle Daukaus. The scheduled contest is slated to go down in the UFC Apex, in Las Vegas NV.
