This Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 181 on ESPN+ is a special Halloween edition that will feature twelve fights. One will feature Anderson Silva in his farewell fight against Uriah Hall in the main event.
Another fight featured in the preliminary portion of the card is some light-heavyweight action featuring Dustin Jacoby (12-5 MMA) make his UFC debut against six-fight veteran Justin Ledet (9-3, 1 NC, 3-3 UFC). Jacoby last fought in August where he defeated Ty Flores on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 27 by unanimous decision. In this bout he returned to the 205-lb weight class after fighting at heavyweight at the King of Sparta Heavyweight Series in Golden, Colorado in a win over Cody East.
Affiliated with Finney’s HIT Squad, Jacoby is an experienced professional kickboxer and boxer. He has certified knockout artistry, finishing nine of his ten kickboxing bouts, his lone boxing match, and eight of his twelve wins by way of a knockout. For Ledet, he’s looking to shake off a three-fight losing streak, two of which have come by way of unanimous decision to Aleksa Camur and Alexander Rakic, and the other in between those two by TKO to Johnny Walker.
With that in mind, Jacoby is looking to use Ledet as a stepping stone and earn his first win inside the Octagon this weekend. Ledet on the other hand is fighting for his UFC life in order to stay on the roster. Will Ledet earn his fourth UFC win or fourth UFC loss? Find out this Saturday, Oct. 31 at the UFC APEX Center in Las Vegas with coverage beginning at 4 PM ET on ESPN+.
