The wait for a new opponent for Mike Perry is over. Tim Means will replace an injured Robbie Lawler to face a man fresh off a unanimous decision victory over Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 12 back in June. Perry (14-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC) is looking to increase his win streak to two when he faces off against Means (30-12-1 MMA, 10-7 UFC), whose last fight was also a unanimous decision win over Laureano Staropoli at UFC Vegas 6 back in August.

Mike Perry vs. Tim Means booked for UFC 255 on Nov. 21, sources say. Means replaces Robbie Lawler, who withdrew last week.

Lawler’s injury has been undisclosed at this time. As for Perry, he was forced to take a hiatus from fighting due to having trouble with the law, including his ex-wife, Danielle Nicholson, which was caught on video. The UFC refused to offer any fights to Perry unless he sought help. UFC 255 will take place at the APEX Center in Las Vegas on November 21st.

As for the fight itself, it’s a main card matchup in the welterweight division as both fighters look to remain relevant in their weight class and move up with solid records within the company. If Perry can keep his nose clean and steer clear of any trouble, he can be well-minded enough to gun for his eighth win inside the Octagon, unless the 43-fight veteran Means can post his eleventh UFC victory, using Perry’s personal issues out of the cage as an advantage to win the fight.

UFC 255 will air on Pay-Per-View at 10 PM ET with preliminaries airing on ESPN at 8 PM ET.
