A pair of hard hitters in Ovince Saint Preux and Tanner Boser will meet in the Octagon on June 26 at UFC Vegas 30.
While originally scheduled to fight Maxim Grishin, Ovince Saint Preux will not only face a new opponent but will contend the fight in a different weight class. The bout has been agreed to verbally by both parties. In addition, sources at MMA Junkie were the first to report the news.

Saint Preux AKA “OSP” is looking to bounce back after a TKO loss to the young prospect Jamahal Hill. As it stands questions surround OSP after he missed weight for his bout with Hill back in December. Notwithstanding, Saint Preux will not have to worry about weight-cutting issues in this heavyweight showdown.
OSP competed at heavyweight once before in the UFC but suffered a split-decision loss to Ben Rothwell last May. Suffice to say, OSP’s foray into heavyweight has been slow-moving, to say the least.
“The Bulldozer” Boser holds a professional record of 19-8-1. At just 29-years of age, Boser’s ceiling for success in the UFC is high. Since most heavyweights don’t start at an early age, certainly he will garner advantages over time. The Canadian heavyweight has struggled against opponents in the UFC but his unpredictability on the feet is a definite problem for the heavyweight roster.
Despite being on a 2 fight losing skid, Boser will look to advance in the HW division on June 26. With a karate background, Boser will look to impose his will against OSP, and OSP will attempt to penetrate the HW division with another shot against a legitimate player.
