Niko Price Is Looking To Get Back In The Win Column

Prior to the pairing with the wild Pereira, Price endured a couple of speed bumps in the welterweight division. Specifically, because Price is fighting high-caliber opponents. First, the 31-year old’s 2020 season didn’t start off on the right foot. Following a brutal doctor stoppage at the hands of Vicente Luque, it was clear Price needed to get back in the win column and make adjustments. Price is a very exciting striker but has steadily evolved his game within the confines of the UFC. After a murky conclusion in his fight against Donald Cerrone, Price is eager to make a statement on July 10 to right the ship.

Conversely, Pereira is a wild striker, but effective on the feet. In particular, the Brazilian is riding high with ten knockouts to his name. Additionally, he is a potent finisher as the welterweight possesses six submission victories. Overall, it goes without saying, this fight will be absolute fireworks in the month of July. In the end, the welterweight fight is a great one to determine who might get the next big step up in competition.

With the addition of the welterweight matchup between Niko Price and Michel Pereira at UFC 264, here is an up-to-date lineup for the huge pay-per-view:

  • Dustin Poirier  vs.  Conor McGregor
  • Gilbert Burns  vs.  Stephen Thompson
  • Sean O’Malley  vs.  Louis Smolka
  • Sean Brady  vs.  Kevin Lee
  • Ryan Hall  vs.  Ilia Topuria
  • Jennifer Maia  vs.  Jessica Eye
  • Zhalgas Zhumagulov  vs.  Jerome Rivera
  • Omari Akhmedov  vs.  Brad Tavares
  • Tai Tuivasa  vs.  Greg Hardy
  • Dricus Du Plessis  vs.  Trevin Giles
  • Irene Aldana  vs.  Yana Kunitskaya
  • Alen Amedovski  vs.  Yaozong Hu
  • Niko Price  vs.  Michel Pereira
