Lee will compete for the first time since being submitted by lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. In particular, the lightweight Lee saw success on the feet and initially began the fight quite aggressively. However, as the fight progressed, some thought Lee might have gassed out which led to his eventual finish. Specifically, the champion secured a nasty guillotine choke early into round three. Despite the loss, Lee is working with a great camp at the Trystar Gym. Without a doubt, he will give Brady a hard fight.
Unbeaten Brady Looking To Rank Up With Win Against Kevin Lee
The 28-year old Brady is on an eighteen-fight win streak. If that doesn’t speak for itself, his recent win against Jake Matthews certainly did. The welterweight prospect finished Matthews emphatically with an arm-triangle choke. With time spent training at the Renzo Gracie Philly camp, there is little doubt that Brady won’t bring a methodical and effective approach to such an important fight in his career.
Even though the American is young, Brady has a lot of experience and an amateur record too. Overall, he’s taken his time, and perhaps now is his big shot to catapult his name into households around the world.
