It has been announced that the pay-per-view will cost $49.99. The event will take place inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It is also the home of the NFL Atlanta Falcons. After a tumultuous announcement, the fight drew speculation across the board. While some considered the legitimacy of the pairing, others dismissed it as a sideshow act. The bout is taking place on April 17, on pay-per-view, and will be the MMA star’s first time inside the boxing ring. While Askren lacks boxing experience, that isn’t quite the case for Paul.

However, it’s important to realize the vast amount of time Askren has spent inside the cage and ring. Despite his wrestling-centric style, ring generalship can help win fights. Not only that but having been a professional athlete most of his life will do him a great service in his battle against Paul.

On the other hand, while Paul is new to boxing, his last time out certainly put the spotlight on his power. Following his successful debut in boxing, the Youtube star went on to face former professional basketball player Nate Robinson and knocked him out dramatically. The card will also feature the return of UFC legend, Frank Mir taking on notable boxer Antonio Tarver, so it’s not to miss.
