Despite a rare weekend off from the UFC, Jake Paul is taking no breaks in the lead-up to his marquee boxing match with Tyron Woodley.
Ahead of their blockbuster clash, Paul has remained in the headlines promoting what could be a lift-off point in terms of his boxing trajectory. In early April, the YouTube star-turned boxer captured the world’s attention after building up a super fight with the former Bellator Champion and former ONE Champion Ben Askren. While many thought the fight would be competitive, “The Problem Child” made short work of the former MMA champion and knocked him out cold in just 90-seconds of the first round.
Ever since the nasty knockout, Askren’s teammate and friend, Tyron Woodley has been itching to exact revenge. Even though it seemed like Woodley and Jake Paul were headed in different directions, everything changed after Woodley and the UFC parted ways earlier this year. The two are now on a collision course, and the mega event goes down on August 29.
As we inch closer to the Paul vs. Woodley PPV airing on the Showtime network, The YouTube-turned boxer continues to pour gasoline on a volatile pre-fight fire. In his latest stunt, Paul got the attention of the masses after releasing a ‘hit list’ in which he intends to complete by the time he calls it a career.

With names like Canelo Alvarez and Conor McGregor, many wonder how realistic Paul’s list really is. Interestingly, it ends with Paul writing the name of his own brother as a potential opponent.
Either way, the man understands how to promote a fight, that’s for sure. On Aug. 29 when he faces off with Woodley, pushes will come to shoving and the world will witness if Paul truly has the type of dog in him that is essential to becoming a world-class fighter.
