YouTube sensation Jake Paul has quickly become one of the most popular boxers in the world today. After only two professional boxing matches, with both wins, along with a brief acting career on the Disney Channel, and over 20 million subscribers to his channel, he’s eyeing Conor McGregor. The internet celebrity came off of a win against former NBA basketball player, Nate Robinson at the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. undercard last Saturday night with a second-round TKO of the former two-time Slam Dunk Champion. His finish became the subject of memes all over the Web that continue to make headway. The performance got the attention of the main eventer of the card, Mike Tyson himself.

The 23-year old Cleveland, Ohio native wants to have some more fights to his record before facing off against the former UFC two-division champion. As for McGregor, his polarizing figure and body of work gave him a fight against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. back in August of 2017. Although he lost to the undefeated legendary champion fighter, he became an even bigger combat sports brand than ever. Paul has been his own brand since his teenage years, making videos and acting on television shows. With more aggression ready to leak out of him, he has become a household name with the help of digital and social media.
Through self-promotion, he may have the attention of McGregor and the rest of the world. But he also has his share of detractors.

This also includes MMA fighter Dillon Danis, who fights for Bellator MMA, has called out Paul and his older brother, Logan, who also is an internet celebrity and boxer. Training with and being included in McGregor’s inner circle has the spotlight on him as well as the 27-year old Parsippany, NJ native is looking to further confront the multi-skilled entrepreneur.

It so happens that UFC legend Daniel Cormier has given Danis a stern warning about challenging Paul. On the DC and Helwani podcast, the two discuss how going after the YouTuber may be a bad idea despite being a veteran combat sportsman himself with a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Marcelo Garcia.
I’m wiping my ass with Dillon Danis then Jake Paul vs. @TheNotoriousMMA will happen and will win. Don’t underestimate the Cleveland kid. I will continue to shock the world. https://t.co/qilrPU2Etk

Overall, Paul is rich, young, and ambitious, which goes a long way for anyone. With a net worth of over $11 million and fame on his side, he can choose to do anything he wishes just for the taking. In a pandemic ridden world that we live in, while others are struggling with closed businesses, losing loved ones to the novel coronavirus, along with physical and mental health issues, he continues to make another strong profit. Revealing that he made “a lot” on Dextero.com, he revealed that he made eight figures. If he keeps up his win streak, self-promoting, and has a strong card around him, he may very well be one of the wealthiest and influential people before reaching the age of 30.
