Guram Kutateladze has fallen out of his scheduled fight with Don Madge. Instead, filling in for Kutateladze will be notable UFC lightweight, Nasrat Haqparast. Initially, the news was reported first by sources at MMAJunkie. Despite fight cancelations becoming the norm, the card will at least get a nice infusion of lightweight talent.
The lightweight scrap featuring Don Madge vs. Nasrat Haqparast is just as good a replacement. Madge is on a thrilling six-fight win streak, yet has still struggled to face some of the bigger names within the organization. However, a good start is with Haqparast, who brings a furious pace every time out in the octagon.
Don Madge vs. Nasrat Haqparast March Bound
With back-to-back canceled bouts, certainly, Madge is just ready to mix things up. Finally, the lightweight will have that chance against the scrappy Haqparast. Before this fight was finalized, Madge put together an impressive six-fight win streak. For instance, the 30-year-old South African picked up a nasty finish over Te Edwards back at UFC Fight Night 138. Following the success, he continued his streak by beating Fares Ziam on the big UFC 242 card featuring Khabib Nurmagomedov.
On the other hand, the young 25-year old Haqparast has impressed cohorts with a very fast pace. Even though he dropped a tough loss to Drew Dober, since then, the South African has gotten back into the win column. In particular, the prospect showed he belonged in the UFC after a one-sided unanimous decision win over Alex Munoz last August. The two lightweights will represent some of the hottest up and coming prospects to date.
