It has been an action-packed season of the Contender Series, and last week continued to impress. The UFC made history as seventeen-year-old Raul Roses Jr. received a contract in his 6th pro fight.
There were four other winners that brought the season total to 38 out of 44 winners getting contracts. This week we have a full slate of young prospects, including all-time great college wrestler Bo Nickal.
Nickal makes his second main event appearance on the season after UFC President Dana White decided he wanted to see one more before he offered Nickal the contract. A win here would surely guarantee the young prospect a spot on the coveted UFC roster.
