As the fifth season of the Dana White’s Contender Series comes down to the final episode we saw another exciting week again last week, as always more contracts were given out as five of the six winners punched their tickets to the big show. That now brings the total to 38 out of 48 winners receiving contracts this season, as well as one loser.
We have a return to a five-bout event for the season final going down this Tuesday. With only one chance remaining for the fighters this season, we will see how hard these last competitors fight for these last contracts. It has been a pleasure bringing you all your Dana White’s Contender Series previews on what is my second full season, and I look forward to keeping it going many seasons to come.

The full Dana White’s Contender Series event preview is below:

Opening bout men’s flyweight (125)
Zhifa Shang (32-7)- 2nd ranked flyweight China (+160 underdog) vs. Juan Puerta (22-6)- 1st ranked flyweight US west (-190 slight favorite).
