A pivotal featherweight scrap of Bryce Mitchell vs Movsar Evloev has been booked for November.
According to Fight Bananas, and later confirmed by multiple outlets, Mitchell is set to face Evloev on November 5 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main event of the card has yet to be announced, but both men have expressed interest in being the main event, according to multiple reports.
Bryce Mitchell vs Movsar Evloev Confirmed for Fight Night
Mitchell (15-0) picked up the biggest win of his career last time out as he defeated Edson Barboza by decision back in March. The Arkansas native is currently 6-0 inside the Octagon with other wins over Andre Fili, Charles Rosa, Matt Sayles, Bobby Moffett, and Tyler Diamond. In 2018, Mitchell earned his way into the UFC by competing on The Ultimate Fighter despite losing on the show to Brad Katona. He’s also currently ranked ninth at featherweight.
Evloev (16-0) defeated Dan Ige by decision back in June while before that, the 10th-ranked featherweight defeated Hakeem Dawodu. He’s the former M1 Global bantamweight champion but has fought solely at featherweight since signing with the UFC and is 6-0. His other wins in the UFC are over Nik Lents, Mike Grundy, Enrique Barzola, and Seung Woo Choi.
A War of Words On Twitter Has Fueled Bryce Mitchell vs Movsar Evloev
Over the summer, Mitchell and Evloev took shots at one another on social media campaigning for a fight and it will now come to fruition.

“Look who woken up!” Evloev responded, helping make the fight. “You wouldn’t survive on the streets where I grew up, hilbilly. Keep that energy when I see you face to face. Just sign the contract and I hope you will spend your show money on self-education, because you’re not getting the win bonus, dummy.”
