Bobby Green and Jim Miller – Short Notice, No Problem
Since the news circulated on Monday afternoon, the two athletes have eleven days to prepare for the bout. The two combined have a total of eighty-six professional mixed martial arts bouts. Certainly, fans will welcome this fight news with open arms considering the two involved. First, Miller’s (32-15) longevity is always a sight to behold, but Green’s (27-11-1) striking has been so precise in his last few bouts. Most definitely the two will mix it up and give fans a show. A consummate professional, Miller is looking to rebound after a loss to Vinc Pichel at UFC 252: Miocic vs. Cormier 3.
Conversely, Green enters the bout after dropping a unanimous decision loss to Thiago Moisés. Prior to the setback, Green was on a three-fight win streak. With solid wins over Clay Guida and Lando Vannata, the lightweight was making clear improvements in his game. In the rematch with Vannata, Green showed he evolved enough to close the gap in striking development.
Miller came up short in his previous bout, but his non-stop pace hasn’t wavered. In fact, his finishing ability in the first round is downright impressive. In 2019, Miller picked up a couple of first-round submission wins against Jason Gonzalez and Guida too respectively.
