2020 has been a crazy year. With everything going on with the coronavirus, the UFC was still able to put on plenty of fights! As we get closer to 2021, there are many fights that fans want to see. Everyone may not agree with these fights and that is fine.

Colby Covington vs Jorge Masvidal

With Colby Covington coming off a recent win over Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal coming off a loss to Kamaru Usman, this is a fight that makes so much sense.

Already, talks have surfaced of the former best friends facing each other. Immediately after Colby Covington’s win over Tyron Woodley, Dana White said per MMAJunkie.com, “It’s very possible (Masvidal vs Covington) is next”. This fight interests Dana White and many fans around the world!

These two were best friends just a few years ago. They lived in the same apartment together and helped each other in training. Now with Colby Covington recently changing gyms to MMA Masters, there is no longer a problem with training in the same gym.

This would be a fantastic matchup and it is a very interesting fight because these two know each other. Two former best friends facing each other is what many people want to see.

Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya

As many know, Jon “Bones” Jones recently vacated the light heavyweight belt that he held for years. This happened because he wants to move up to heavyweight. This did not stop the “Twitter beef” with Israel Adesanya though.

Israel Adesanya found an article from 2012 stating, “Jon Jones definitely eyeing late 2013 move to heavyweight”. Eight years later and that move hasn’t happened yet.

On this same tweet, someone said “Izzy we gotta see this fight”. This was Israel Adesanya’s response.

I promise you it will.

This fight even makes more sense now. Israel Adesanya is moving up to the lightweight division in 2021. Recently, both fighters have said they want this fight, and let’s hope in 2021 this fight can happen.

Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou 2

As many know, this fight already happened back in 2018. Stipe Miocic ended up defeating Francis Ngannou by unanimous decision. A few years later though, the rematch makes a ton of sense.

After this fight, Miocic went on to fight Daniel Cormier three times. Many think the third win over Cormier back in August, solidified him as the heavyweight GOAT.

For Ngannou, he went on after this fight and won his next four out of five fights. His most recent one where he defeated Jairzinho Rozenstruik in twenty seconds. Many fans tune in for his fights.

Both fighters know each other from the first fight and it would be another great fight. Many wonder how Miocic will deal with Francis Ngannou’s power in the rematch. Both fighters stand a great chance and who knows what the outcome will be this time around.

This is why it would be such a great fight and hopefully, we get this in 2021!
