After the birth of his first child, UFC star Mike Perry will return against Daniel Rodriguez in a thrilling fight. The news was reported by sources at FighterPathMMA. Ironically, in Rodriguez’s UFC debut, he beat Tim Means with a vicious guillotine choke. Following years later, now his opponent Perry is coming off a loss to Means most recently. Either way, both of these welterweights bring the carnage every time out, and this bout will be no different.
Despite the lack of official cornermen for Perry’s side of things, the mother of his child, Latory Gonzale helps him train and corners him. Since the transition, against Mickey Gall, Perry found great success. Also, the welterweight performed quite well under the newfound conditions. In fact, it was one of the first times that Perry was showing a developed takedown game to compliment his aggression while standing.
